About the event
Belalang \\ Cao Cao: Translocal Performance Lab is a collaborative performance lab by the Djakarta International Theater Platform 2025. It seeks to connect Southeast Asian artists/theater practitioners across disciplines.
Through DITP 2025’s open call, 8 artists from 7 countries were selected from 100+ applicants to attend an intensive 3-weeks residency in Jakarta, Indonesia. This presentation is a culmination of the collaborative work from participants of the lab, presented to the general audience as a closing performance of DITP 2025.
